Yesterday I bought some stuff. I went to the flea market near my house and found Devil Dinosaur #1 for ten bucks. This book usually goes for about 22-24 dollars. I think ten bucks was worth it because Jack Kirby rules and Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy are fucking awesome ideas for characters. I also went to the two nearest comic book stores, which I seldom get a chance to do because they are pretty far away from where I live. One of them had A Clockwork Orange on vinyl for 99¢ and I bought it because no one else would. They had a lot of number ones and I got Justice League Europe #1, which was a dollar, pretty much just because Animal Man is in it. X-Men (2nd Series) #1 was three bucks and I got it for nostalgic reasons because I inherited it from my brother when I was a kid (along with hundreds of X-Men trading cards and the two big Death of Superman issues).
A few times ago, I introduced you to the work of Jed Henry, who designed video games characters inspired by mediaeval Japan art. Well here comes Murat Paltat’s work, who designed famous movie cult scenes, inspired by the traditional persian art! Alas, I just couldn’t find the artist’s website, so if any of you has it, please share it with us ! More movies in the full article !
